Peace For An Anxious Mind
An anxious mind is not a faithless mind. It is a mind that needs somewhere to put the weight.
Peace is possible for an anxious mind.
Not by pretending nothing is wrong.
By handing it over,
piece by piece,
with thanksgiving
you do not feel yet.
And the peace of God,
which passeth understanding,
shall keep your heart
and your mind.
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV)

What does Philippians 4:6-7 mean?
It says be careful for nothing: do not be full of anxious care. Instead, let your requests be made known unto God by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, and the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
How do you pray when you feel too anxious to think straight?
Short and honest counts. Name the thing out loud, hand it over piece by piece, and thank Him for one true thing. Peace often stands guard first and explains later.
