A small figure on a hill road beside a large gentle light, fear not God is with you

Fear Not, God Is With You

Fear thou not is not God scolding your fear. It is God answering it.

Fear not.
Not because the road is not steep,
or the news is not real.
Fear not, for I am with thee.
He will strengthen thee.
He will help thee.
The hand that upholds you
is not nervous.

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”

Isaiah 41:10 (KJV)

What does Isaiah 41:10 mean?

God says, fear thou not; for I am with thee. Then He stacks the promise: I will strengthen thee, I will help thee, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. His grip, not yours, is the guarantee.

How do you stop being afraid when the situation is real?

The verse never says the situation is not real. It says you are not alone in it. Courage here is not the absence of fear; it is fear answered by a presence.
