Love That Does Not Leave
People can walk away. God does not. His mercies show up again every single morning.
Human love should be mutual.
God’s love is different.
It does not leave
when you are tired,
weak,
or struggling to keep going.
“It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23 (KJV)
Does God’s love ever leave us?
No. Lamentations says His compassions fail not and His mercies are new every morning. God’s love does not leave when you are tired, weak, or struggling.
What does “new every morning” mean in Lamentations 3?
It means God’s mercy is not a one time supply that runs out. Every morning arrives with fresh mercy for that day, because great is His faithfulness.
